Obituary

Died – In this city Wednesday morning, June 21st, 1893, Mrs. Sarah Rogers, in the 76th year of her age.

Mrs. Rogers was the mother of Mrs. L. W. Osborn of this city, with whom she has resided for nearly twenty years and is therefore well-known to our people generally. She was a native of the state of Virginia.

Funeral services were held at the Episcopal Church at 5 p.m. last Thursday, and on Friday morning her remains were taken to Prospect Hill Cemetery, Omaha, for interment.

She left two daughters and three sons, all of whom are known to the people of Washington County, to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Sarah Rogers, mother of Mrs. L. W. Osborn, died at the residence of Mrs. Osborn, in this city, at seven o'clock Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held at the family residence of L. W. Osborn at 5 o'clock P. M. on Thursday and the body taken to Omaha on Friday morning for interment. Mrs. Rogers was 76 years of age, a widow for many years and her home has been for several years past with her daughter here in Blair. She has been quite feeble and at times very low during the past year and her death has not been unexpected for some time. Her son, G. W. Rogers and another daughter, Mrs. McClellan, came up from Omaha yesterday and will remain and accompany the remains to Omaha, on Friday.
