Emil Wiese 57, Succumbs
Kennard School Custodian Dies After Stroke; Rites Are Friday
Emil D. Wiese, 57, custodian of the Kennard School, died Tuesday night at Blair Hospital following a stroke.
The body was removed to the Bendorf Funeral Home. It is announced that the rites will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Paul Harris of Arlington will officiate, burial to follow in the German Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry Wrich, Chris Jahnel, Charles and John Voss, Henry Schumacher and Arthur Wiese.
Surviving Mr. Wiese are his mother, Mrs. Sophia Wiese; six brothers, Harry and Andrew Wiese of Blair, Alfred Wiese of Kennard, Peter Wiese of Hutchinson, Minn., Ferdinand Wiese of Missouri Valley, Ia., and John Wiese of Fort Calhoun; and three sisters, Miss Alice Wiese of Blair, Mrs. Otto Wrich (Dora) of Kennard and Mrs. John Rahlff of Wayne.
