Services For Roy Grover To Be Wednesday
Roy M. Grover, 75, passed away January 22 at Granite City, Illinois. Mr. Grover had been in failing health for about a year.
Mr. Grover was born in Blair, Nebraska, on May 15, 1901, to Mort and Bertha Coulter Grover. He married Jessie Williamson on June 21, 1922. His wife and son, Marshall, preceded him in death. The Grovers lived in the Blair area during the mid ‘30s and again in the ‘60s.
He is survived by a daughter Jeanette Turnbough of Granite City, Illinois, and one son, Kenneth, of Denver, Colorado. There are six grandchildren, 2 brothers, Merl of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mort of Kennard, Nebraska.
After a memorial service, in Granite City, the body will be brought to the Kahler Mortuary at Papillion. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26th, at the First Presbyterian Church in Bellevue with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
