James L. Ellis, 51

James LeRoy Ellis, 51, of Blair, died Feb. 24, 2009, after a long battle with cancer.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Trinity Church Interdenominational in Omaha.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Derek Archer, and son, Sean Ellis, all of Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Heiliger; son, Chad Heiliger; mother, Marion Doane; father, Vern Ellis; and stepfather, Wayland VanDalsem.
