Dallas Dean Walkenhorst
Dallas D. Walkenhorst, the son of Harry and Regina (Ahlemeyer) Walkenhorst, was born December 14, 1936 in rural Arlington, Nebraska. He grew up at Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School. He attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and received computer training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a computer programmer for the State of Nebraska. He lived the last 20 years in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dallas was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln. He, also, was a member of the Northeast Sertoma Club in Lincoln.
He married Eunice Havenga on June 1, 1968 in Dumont, Iowa.
Dallas passed from this life on Wednesday, December 17, 1986, at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln at the age of 50 years and 3 days, He is survived by his wife, Eunice; son, Todd of Lincoln; mothers and step-father, Regina and William Cook of Arlington; brothers, Duane Walkenhorst of Phoenix, Arizona and Larry Walkenhorst of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Walkenhorst.
Following the Graveside Services a lunch will be served in the Parish Hall for the family, relatives and friends.
