Floyd F. Green Died In Omaha Last Thursday
Floyd Fern Green, a former Blair resident, but more recently living in Omaha, died Thursday, January 8th at the Prairie Park Nursing Home in Omaha.
He was 80 years old, having been born April 27, 1895, at Blair.
The deceased was a laborer, working at numerous types of employment in the area. He has been retired for a number of years.
He was married to Lena Grothe, also of Blair, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter as well as two sisters.
The sons are Lloyd Green, of Grand Island and Arthur Green, of Rockford, Ill. The daughter is Mrs. Tony (Grace) Kehl, of Riverton, Wyoming.
The sisters are Mrs. Walter (Ann) Hampton, of Omaha and Bessie Zander of Blair.
Funeral services are being held at the Campbell Mortuary today, January 12th at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Gordon Patterson of First United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
