Mick A. Grefe, 54

Mick A. Grefe, 54, of Arlington, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Services were Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in *Fremont. The Rev. Dr. Michael L. Rogers officiated. Burial was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Mick A. Grefe was born March 11, 1945, to Edgar and Dorothea (Hilgenkamp) Grefe in Fremont.

He grew up in Arlington and was a 1963 graduate of Arlington High School.

He served in the U. S. Army Reserves in Fremont from 1966 to 1970. He also farmed in the Arlington area.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was active in 4-H for several years.

On May 28, 1966, he married Mary H. Stork.

He is survived by his father, Edgar Grefe of Arlington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Cheri Grefe and Mike and Jennifer Grefe, all of Fremont; daughter, Marcy Grefe of Omaha; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Jacqueline Grefe of Arlington; former wife, Mary A. Grefe of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothea Grefe.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.

Arlington – The funeral for Mick A. Grefe, 54, of Arlington will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, north of Arlington.

He died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Grefe was born March 11, 1945, in Fremont. He grew up in Arlington and was a 1963 graduate of Arlington High School. He married Mary Stork May 28, 1966, in Arlington. He served in 1966-1970 with the United States Army Reserves in Fremont. He was a farmer in the Arlington area. He was active in 4-H for several years.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Mark (and wife, Cheri) Grefe and Mike (and wife, Jennifer) Grefe, all of Fremont; a daughter, Marcy Grefe of Omaha; his father, Edgar Grefe of Arlington; a brother, Gary (and wife, Jacqueline) Grefe of Arlington; former wife, Mary Grefe of Fremont; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

The Rev. Michael Rogers will officiate Wednesday’s service. Visitation will be until 9 tonight with family receiving friends 6-8 p.m., all at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, and will continue one hour before service at the church.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, north of Arlington.
