Blanche E. (Puffer) Watkins, 85, Tekamah, passed away on Saturday evening, May 16, 1987, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

She was born on October 16, 1901 at Blair to Charles Walter and Lula Loretta (Carter) Peck.

She was united in marriage to Linton Puffer, Sr. on July 1, 1923, at Blair.

Mr. Puffer passed away on July 19, 1943.

On November 28, 1948, she was married to Roy Watkins at Tekamah.

Mr. Watkins passed away on October 30, 1978.

Survivors include three sons: Linton Puffer of Blair, Marion Puffer of North Platte, and Russell Puffer of Craig; one daughter, Rosemond (Mrs. Don) Adams of Mondamin, Iowa; one step-son, Jeff Watkins of Tekamah; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Linton, and Roy, and one brother.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 1987, at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Chapel in Tekamah with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating.

Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.
