Helena Jensen, 105, of Decatur, Ill., formerly of Arlington, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Fair Havens Christian Home in Decatur, Ill.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, at Arlington Community Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
Helena Utermann was born June 25, 1907, in Kennard, to Henry and Carrie (Schultz) Utermann.
She married Howard L. Jensen on March 5, 1927, in Pierce.
After graduating from Plainview High School, she received her teaching certificate and taught nine years in a one-room country school, the last six years at the Bluffs school near Fremont.
She was a member of Arlington Community Church and Washington County Extension.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Norm and Lori Jensen of Decatur, Ill., and Warren Jensen and Sarah French of Norman, Okla.; six grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Verna Helmsing of Foristell, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in September 1983; firstborn son, Dwayne Perry Jensen; and four sisters.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
