Services Held In Washington For Ida Wendt
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 8, at Prairie View Cemetery at Washington for Mrs. Ida M. Wendt, 91 of Omaha, who died Friday morning in the Lutheran Home at Omaha after a lengthy illness. Rev. Merle Zook of First United Methodist Church at Fremont conducted the services.
Ida M. Wendt was born May 14, 1890, at Plattsburg, Missouri, but lived most of her life at Washington, Nebraska. She married Gust R. Wendt on November 17, 1909, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He preceded her in death May 2, 1970, in Blair.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nannie Coleman of Nampa, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont was in charge of arrangements for the services.
