Services Held For James West
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 5th for 50 year old Neil James West of Blair. Mr. West died on Wednesday, January 2, 1980, at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
The services were at the First Methodist Church in Blair with Rev. Gordon Patterson officiating. Military services were held at the Blair Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Neil James West was born at Blair, Nebraska on January 3, 1929. He was married to Carol Gilbert and they lived at 1951 Grant Street in Blair. He was a Foreman at the Blair Manufacturing Plant.
He is survived by his wife Carol, of Blair; son Larry West, of Blair; Linda Jean Waddel of Omaha; Cindy West of Omaha; and LuAnn Marie West of Blair. There are four grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother, Gail West, of Detroit, Michigan and his mother Gertrude West of Blair.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Hineline, Don Moore, Harry Tucker, Louis Nielsen, Louis Fisher, Tom Pedersen and Joe McManigal.
