Charles Van Valin Rites Tuesday
Charles Van Valin, for twenty-five years the custodial engineer at the Courthouse in Blair, died at Wakefield, Nebraska Sunday. He was 80 years old.
Mr. Van Valin was a native of the Herman vicinity and lived there for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Nell and by three children. They are Mrs. Whit Cameron, of Herman, Mrs. Harold Orr, of Thousand Oaks, California, and by a son Carroll, of Wakefield. He had been making his home with Carroll for the past two years.
Graveside services will be held at the Herman cemetery Tuesday afternoon, June 30th, at 2:30 P.M.
