Floyd E. Vaughn, 75, of Blair, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the funeral home.
Floyd E. Vaughn was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Herman to Jasper and Katherine Rose (Colgan) Vaughn.
He served for two years in the U.S. military. He was a bricklayer for many years and belonged to Local Union No. 1.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Vaughn had endured many difficult health problems, but his strong faith helped him to be thankful for each new day. He loved the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Steve; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Clint Andersen, Shelly and Raymond Smith, and Valerie Stukey and special friend, Joe Dugan, all of Blair; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and spouses, Keith and Marilyce Kuhr of Grand Island and Gordon and Linda Kuhr of Omaha.
