Services Friday for Alice Vogt
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, at First United Methodist Church in Blair for Alice O. Vogt, 74, who died September 28, 1983, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Dr. Gordon Patterson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.
Alice O. Vogt was born July 12, 1909, to Lars Petersen and Kristen Hansen. She attended Rose Hill School.
She was a member of the Midwest Heirloom Doll Club, the Brewster Club and Golden Friends. She was well known for her poetry and her miniature furniture made from cans.
She married William G. Vogt in Blair on October 29, 1928.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, who died April 19, 1980; and one sister.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Vogt of Arlington and Leland Vogt of Kennard. Six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother Howard Petersen of Arlington; and one sister, Mrs. Eggert (Olga) Wulf of Blair also survive her.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Jahn, David Kuhr, Larry Petersen, Don Rasmussen, Richard Sorensen, Ervin Wulf and Vernon Wulf.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Vogt, who preceded her in death on April 19, 1980. Alice was a member of the Midwest Heirloom Doll Club, Brewster Club and Golden Friends.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Glen of Arlington, Nebraska; and Leland of Kennard, Nebraska; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Howard Petersen of Arlington, Nebraska; and one sister, Mrs. Eggert (Olga) Wulf of Blair, Nebraska. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
The family extends an invitation to join them for lunch at the church, following graveside services.
