Services Held On Monday For William Vogt
Services were held Monday, April 21, at Campbell Funeral Home for William G. Vogt, 79, who died April 19, 1980, in the Blair Hospital. Rev. Kurt Sortland conducted the services. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
William G. Vogt was born in Kennard on April 26, 1900, to Johann and Cecelia Horn Vogt. He married Alice Petersen on October 29, 1928, in Blair. A retired farmer, they were living at 2209 Washington Street, Blair, at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Alice of Blair; two sons, Glen Vogt of Arlington and Leland Vogt of Kennard; and six grandchildren.
Clare Cowing was organist for the services.
Pallbearers were George Lauritsen, Don Vogt, Martin Voss, Leonard Lauritsen, Hansel Vogt and William Wulbern, Jr.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
