Mrs. Nic Friedrichsen, longtime resident of Kennard, died Tuesday at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Mrs. Friedrichsen, 71, was the wife of a retired hardware merchant of Kennard.

Alma (Petersen) Friedrichsen was born in Washington County September 15, 1899. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Petersen, deceased residents of this area. She spent her entire life in this county.

She is survived by her husband, Nic, and by a daughter Shirley, now Mrs. James Long, of Blair. There are three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, November 5th at the Campbell Mortuary at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Arden Dorn, of Kennard, will conduct the service.

Pallbearers will be: Clarence Sorensen, Harlan Siebert, William Petersen, Henry Petersen, Leonard Nelson and Russell Logeman.
