GUS LYDEN, 80, IS DEAD
RITES TODAY FOR EX-SCHUYLER PHOTOGRAPHER; BURIAL AT FORT CALHOUN
Gus Lyden, 80 years old, who had many friends and relatives in Blair, died Tuesday morning in a Columbus hospital. He operated a photograph studio at Schuyler from 1910 to 1950.
Funeral services for Mr. Lyden will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday) at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Schuyler. The Rev. James L. Stilwell, formerly of Blair, will officiate, and burial will be at Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Lyden is his wife, the former Cora Stockton of Blair. Mrs. Lyden was a half-sister of the late Mrs. O.A. Pound of Blair.
