WILLIAM VOSS DIED AT THE AGE OF 78
Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1962 for William Voss, who passed away suddenly at his home near Kennard, Nebraska, September 22nd.
Services will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the German Cemetery at Bennington, Nebraska.
William John Voss was born May 2, 1884 in Washington County, where he lived his entire life.
His wife preceded him in death in September, 1956. He is survived by eight children: John and Wallace, Kennard; Wilbert, Dakota City; Alvin, Arlington; Mrs. Lorin (Catherine) Christensen, Bennington; Mrs. Avery (Dorothy) Jasperson, Oakland; Miss Wilma Voss, Kennard; and Mrs. Evelyn Parrish, Omaha; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by one brother, Ben of Blair, Nebraska; and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Rosacker, Burke, S. D., and Mrs. Martha Soll, Rosalie, Nebraska. Four sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Martin Voss, Henry Voss, Ervin Voss, Clarence Voss, Henry Tietgen and Elmer Soll.
