John B. Eriksen Died Yesterday After Illness: Services Are Friday
John B. Eriksen, 62, died at his home west of Herman early Wednesday following an extended illness.
The Truhlsen Funeral Home announces that rites are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Herman Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glenn Emmert officiating. Mr. Eriksen is survived by his wife, Emma; one son, Jack, of near Herman; two daughters, Mrs. Adolph Svoboda (Jeraldine) of Tekamah and Mrs. Ervin Clements (Liberty( of Herman. Also surviving are a brother, Jesse Eriksen, of Oakland, and five sisters, Mrs. Al Hadlund of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Will Sprick of Fremont, Mrs. Howard Curley of Craig, Mrs. Bill Detmer of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Bill Sylvis of Bozeman, Mont.
Mr. Eriksen lived his entire life in the same community.
