ELVA L. SANDERS, 84

Former Blair resident Elva L. (Hewett) Sanders, 84, died Dec. 26, 2000, in Norton, Ohio.

Mrs. Sanders was a Blair High School graduate.

She attended Dana College, and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

She married Leon Sanders of Superior, and moved to Barberton, Ohio, where her husband worked as an engineer and where Mrs. Sanders taught in the Barberton City Schools.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband of 60 years, daughters and sons-in-law, Rae and Robert Leonard of Norton, Ohio, and Gayle and Roy Dickson of Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Mel and Iris Hewett of Papillion; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
