Nels C. Wulff, Former Countain, Died At Norfolk
Services for Nels Christian Wulff, 81, of 749 W. 4th. St., were held last week.
Mr. Wulff was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, March 16, 1881. He came to this country with his parents when he was nine years old and settled in Washington County. He was married in Blair, March 4, 1908, to Mary Larson who died March 23, 1929. He married Bessye Thompson in Columbus, Dec. 26, 1935. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Harold, Blair; Irvin, Ontario, Ore.; and Virgil, El Sobrante, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Mildred) May, Fremont; Mrs. Louis (Leona) Schurkamp, San Pablo, Calif.; Mrs. William (Winona) Mutschler, Concord, Calif.; and Mrs. Robert (Jo Ann) Jenkins, La Cross, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wulff farmed in Washington County 20 years. Thirty-three years ago he moved to Fremont and engaged in trucking for the A. R. Thomas Co. He died Sunday evening in a Norfolk hospital.
