Kenneth L. Connick, 64, of Arlington, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at his home.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kenneth L. Connick was born January 4, 1949, to Darrell and Frances (Thompson) Connick in Creighton.

He grew up in several towns in northeast and north central Nebraska including Elgin and Bassett. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1967.

He served in the United States Air Force and returned to Arlington after his discharge.

On December 9, 1971, he married Connie Flesher in San Antonio, Texas. The couple later divorced. On May 27, 2006, he married Carolyn (Strunk) Marsh in Fremont.

Mr. Connick had worked for Valmont Industries in Valley since 1971.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden.

He was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont and V.F.W. Post 8332 in Arlington. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, and daughter-in-law, Toby and Kate Connick of Fremont; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Heath Cornett of Wisner, Clara and Wally Miles of Peoria, Ill.; mother and spouse, Frances Connick-Prewitt and Gerald Prewitt of Sioux City, Iowa; stepsons and their spouses, Russell and Amanda Marsh of Wylie, Texas, Christopher and Katie Marsh of LaVista; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Kathy Connick of Minburn, Iowa, Ron and Diane Connick of Sutherland, Terry Connick of Doniphan, Jeff and Gloria Connick of Sioux City, Iowa; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be directed to the family for sharing with the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission and other organizations dear to his heart.
