Services To Be On Friday For Martha Madsen

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10, 1979, at 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum for Martha Elvena Madsen who died Wednesday morning, August 8, at the age of 78. Burial will be in the Orum Cemetery.

Martha Elvena Madsen was born on October 18, 1900, in Blair to Henry and Katie Wulf Kuhr. She lived in the Blair area and on November 23, 1921, married Harry Madsen in Blair. She was a homemaker during her life-time and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum.

One son, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; one son, Ralph Madsen of Blair; and two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Lela) Loftis and Mrs. Charles (Katherine) Clark, both of Blair. One sister, Mrs. Harold E. Rasmussen of Blair; one brother, Albert Kuhr, also of Blair, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive her.

Pallbearers for the services will be Richard Madsen, Russell Madsen, Tom Cole, Jim Grabbe, Mike Clark and David Kuhr.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
