WALTER RATHE, 84
Walter Rathe, 84, former long time resident of the Arlington/Fremont area died August 19 in Seattle, Washington, following a brief illness.
Born in Sterling, Nebraska, he farmed north of Arlington until 1957 when they moved to Seattle.
Survivors are a daughter, Patrician Schulte, Seattle; a grandson, Kit Schulte, Seattle; a granddaughter, Denise Stahnke, Orting, Washington; three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother, Erwin Rathe, Woodinville, Washington; a brother, Lorin Rathe, Seattle; and a sister, Linda Saathoff, Sterling, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held August 22, in the chapel of West Seattle Funeral Home. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
