DENISE RATHJEN DIED AT AGE OF 17
Funeral services for 17 year old Denise L. Rathjen were held on Saturday, May 5th, 1979. Denise died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha on Thursday, May 3, 1979. Cause of death was believed to have been from a heart condition.
Services were at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.
Denise Rathjen was born in Blair and lived at Rt. 2, Blair. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rathjen of Blair. Brothers and sisters are Dean and Dawn, of Blair; and Douglas Storms of Decatur.
Denise attended Blair High School and was attending Metro-Tech School of LPN Nursing in Omaha.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hansen, of Blair; and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rathjen of Blair.
Pallbearers were: Richard Hansen, Dale Jones, David Hansen, Rodney Hansen, Rick Burmeister and Steven Jipp.
