FORMER ARLINGTON LADY DIED IN FREMONT

Mrs. Freda Rathovic, 68, of Fremont, passed away Monday morning. Mrs. Rathovic, with her husband, also deceased, had lived south of Arlington for many years before moving to 1206 East Dodge St. in Fremont.

Funeral services are pending at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home.

Services were Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral home for Freda C. Rathovic, 68, who died Monday, January 6.

Mrs. Rathovic, formerly of 1206 Dodge St., was born January 31, 1905, in Sundsvale, Sweden.

She and her late husband James moved from Omaha to a farm east of Fremont where they spent most of their lives.

The Rathovics were well known farmers near Arlington.

Survivors include two brothers, Carl Hedwall of Pasadena, California, and George of Oroville, California.

Burial was in Omaha’s Calvary Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
