WM. REEH, 82, DIED SATURD’Y; RITES TUESDAY

William Reeh, 1830 Washington St., 82 years of age, died early Saturday morning at Memorial Community Hospital, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at First Methodist Church, the Rev. Donald Springer officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Reeh is survived by his wife, Katherine; and three children, Ben Reeh of Blair; Mrs. William Compton (Bernice) of Chula Vista, Calif.; and Dr. Merrill Reeh of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

William Reeh was born Aug. 5, 1878, the son of Joachim and Dora Reeh. He was the youngest of seven children, who all preceded him in death.

On Jan. 29, 1902, he was married to Miss Katherine Petersen.

Mr. Reeh lived his entire life in Washington County. He was a farmer until retiring 14 years ago and moving to Blair.

Pallbearers will be Earl Reeh, John Reeh, Elmer Truhlsen, Kenneth Jensen, Donald Jensen and Jack Petersen.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
