MRS. WM. REEH TO BE BURIED ON FRIDAY
Mrs. Wm. A. Reeh died July 26th at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital where she had been confined for several weeks.
Catherine Hansina Petersen was born to Mr. and Mrs. Hans Petersen at Blair on October 31, 1883. On January 29, 1902 she was married to William A. Reeh and they resided on a farm west of Blair until 1920 when they moved to Blair. They were the parents of three children: Mrs. W.A. Compton (Bernice) of Chula Vista, California; Dr. Merrill Reeh of Portland, Oregon; and Bernard Reeh of Blair. Mr. Reeh passed away in June of 1961.
Survivors besides her three children are six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also, 3 sisters, Mrs. Joe DeVinney, (Frieda) of Blair; Mrs. Martin Jacobsen (Martha) of Alliance, Nebr.; Mrs. Fred Christensen (Dora) of Hampton, Nebr.; and two brothers, Hans and Walter Petersen of Blair.
Mrs. Reeh was a member of the Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star; Royal Neighbors & Rebekahs.
The Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and funeral services will be held at the First Methodist Church on Friday, July 28 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Atherton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth and Donald Jensen, William Smith, Jack Petersen, Kenneth Truhlsen and Roger Reeh.
