Mrs. Fred Peck Died Friday, Funeral Monday
Funeral services will be held Monday for Mrs. Fred Peck who died Friday at Memorial Community Hospital.
The services will be held at the First Christian Church at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the Rev. Gail Dunning officiating with interment in Blair cemetery.
Mrs. Peck is survived by her husband , Fred; son, William of Herman; daughters, Miss Nellie Peck of Blair and Mrs. LeRoy Seely (Lela) of Lakewood, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Ralph Johns of Youngstown, Arizona and Mrs. Nettie Petersen of Blair; brother Grover Wilkins of Arlington and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Dora Peck was born April 19, 1867 on a farm west of Blair. She would have observed her 78th birthday Monday, the day of her funeral. June 25th, 1913 she married Fred Peck. A son, Pvt. Millard Peck preceded her in death, during World War II.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. They are Lauren and Clyde Biffar, Robert, Sidney and Roland Wilkins and Jack Petersen.
The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
