Steven Joseph Matzen, 35, died at his home February 5, 1987.

Services were held at Campbell Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 9. Rev. Norman Lillegard officiated. Clare Cowing was the organist, and Homer Nielsen was the vocalist.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Larry Bolton; Steve Bolton; Larry Marsh; John McKinnis; Merle Wiese, and Kent Williby.

Matzen was born July 8, 1951, to Clarence and Ingrid (Jensen) Matzen. He owned his own janitorial service.

Survivors include his parents, a son, Robert Steven, and brother Larry of Omaha; and sisters Cindy James of Council Bluffs, Diana Hansen of Fremont, and Susan Trumbo of Blair.
