Services for Ines Mayfield, age 79, of Blair, were held Saturday, July 2, 1988 at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church with the burial in the Blair Cemetery.

She passed away Wednesday June 29, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

She was born June 18, 1910 on a farm near Carleton to William J. and Jessie May Newsham Lambert

. On June 14, 1931 she was united in marriage with Harry Jordan of Plattsmouth. To this union were born two daughters. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1947.

On October 6, 1955 she married Elvin E. Mayfield of Camas, WA. He also preceded her in death.

She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and Over Sixty Center. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Rebecca’s and the Monday Afternoon Club.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Helen and Charles Seefus of Blair, Norma and Roger Lippincott of Angeles City, Philippines, grandsons Mark Seefus and David Lippincott, granddaughter, Jennifer Scott, great-granddaughters Diana Lynn Seefus, and Stephanie Ann Scott, and great-grandson, Ryan Mark Seefus.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Alan Lambert and sister Dorothy Marie Lambert.
