N. Berneice Roberts, 87, of Cedar Creek, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, in Gretna.

Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 14, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment was at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

N. Berneice Edsall was born Sept. 24, 1921, at Watonga, Okla., to Clarence and Minnie Edsall.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Ray “Butch” and Julia “Kathy” Roberts of Omaha and Terry and Terri Roberts of Missoula, Mont.; daughters and son-in-law, Connie and Carl Fuhrman of Fort Calhoun, Shirley and Bill Livingston of Blair; Karen and John Givens and Sharon and Bob Morris, all of Conway, Ark.; Tamie Brown and Sandy Roberts, both of Cedar Creek; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Foulks of Florida; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Leonard “Tubby” Edsall, Dorothy Maddux, Thelma Cereby, Leo Edsall; and a great granddaughter Emma Sammon.
