Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church for Francis Mehrens, 85 of Blair, who died at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair May 18, 1991.

Francis William Mehrens was born on January 15, 1906 at Blair to William and Margaret Quinlan Mehrens. He attended school in Blair.

He farmed in the northeast edge of Blair his entire life, retiring in 1970.

On April 10, 1950 he married Mildred Mallory in Blair, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Agnes Tyson.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; one son, Gordon Mallory, Fort Calhoun; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
