Services For Milton Meier Were Tuesday
Services for Milton H. Meier of Herman were held Tuesday, January 27, at the Fontanelle Salem Lutheran Church. Mr. Meier died Sunday, January 25, at the Fremont Hospital.
Mr. Meier was 60 years of age at the time of his death. He had been ill for approximately 10 months. Burial was in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Jackson Sherwood officiating.
Mr. Meier was born in Herman on December 17, 1915. He lived all his life in the Herman area. He was married to Roma Johnson on June 24, 1940 in Fremont. She survives her husband.
He is survived by two sons, Steven of Omaha and Marvin of Herman. There are two daughters, Mrs. Roney (Joyce) Rabe of Rt. 1, Arlington, and Mardelle of Fremont. There are three grandchildren and also two brothers. The brothers are Eldon Meier of Nickerson and Gerald Meier of Fremont.
Pallbearers were Darrell Flake, Burnell Lallman, Dean Lassman, Leland Grabbe, Edward Grabbe and LaVerne Busch.
