ANTON CHRISTIANSEN DIED AT HIS HOME THURSDAY
Anton Christiansen a lifetime resident of Washington County, died at his home south of Kennard on Thursday, April 18th. He was 70 years old.
Mr. Christiansen was born in Washington County November 6th, 1897 and had lived here all of his life. He had spent his life as a farmer and was still engaged in this work at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Beryl and by two brothers and a sister, all living the Blair and Kennard area. The brothers are Chris Christiansen and Andrew Christiansen, both of Kennard. The sister is Mrs. Mary Nielsen, of Blair.
Funeral service were yesterday (Sunday) at the Emmaus Lutheran church at Kennard with the Rev. Arden Dorn conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Prairie View Cemetery, near Washington, Nebraska.
Pallbearers were LaVerne, Merle, Calvin, Vernon and Nels Christiansen and Elmer Desler.
