Mrs. Anna Melton passed away October 21, 1965 at the age of 85 years, at the McBride Nursing Home in Blair.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Henry Dierks, Engelwood, Colorado; Mrs. Ray Schult, Blair, Nebraska; son, Harvey Melton, Bayfield, Colorado; five granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Henry Paulsen of Bennington, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington with Pastor Norman Schroeder officiating. Interment was in the German Cemetery near Bennington, Nebraska. Hadan Mortuary of Bennington was in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were: John Nichols, Leonard Nichols, Wilfred Wagner, Clarence Paulsen, Melvin Nelsen and Wilfred Gottsch.
