Dorothy Rogert, 85, of Blair died August 31, 2004, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Funeral services will 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Dorothy Rogert was born Feb. 20, 1919 in Arlington, to Charles and Stella (Mills) Miller. She spent most of her school years in Kennard and moved to Blair in 1934, where she graduated in 1936.
She was married to Norman Rogert in 1937.
Mrs. Rogert worked at the Ben Franklin Variety store for 30 years, retiring in September 1981.
She is survived by her son, Roger, of Omaha; granddaughter, Stacy Rogert of Blair; and special friend, John Swingholm of Blair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; two brothers, Earl “Smokey” Miller and Leonard Miller; and a sister, Eva Larsen.
Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church or the American Red Cross.
