We have just learned that W. T. Rosenbaum, formerly of this county, but for the past 26 years a government clerk in Washington, died at his home on the 18th last month and was taken to the old home in Burke’s Garden, Va., for burial. Mrs. Emmet Bolt, of this city, is a first cousin and was raised by Mr. Rosenbaum’s father, her mother dying when she was a little girl. W. H. Rosenbaum and Mrs. Vira Spraker, of Kennard, J. C. Rosenbaum, who lives south of town, and Mrs. Jas. Caldwell, of this city, are also first cousins. Mr. Rosenbaum taught in the county for several years before he got the position in Washington. He married Miss Mary Olson, a sister of Jos. Olson, of Herman, who survives him. They had no children of their won, but adopted a little girl a good many years ago who is now grown to womanhood and is teaching in or near Washington. They built a nice new home three years ago and Mrs. Bolt thinks they will continue to live at the national capital.
