Mr. Petersen 90, Died Friday
FREDERICK C. C. PETERSEN FUNERAL HELD MONDAY AT LUTHERAN CHURCH
Funeral services for Frederick C. C. Petersen, 90, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Kiger of Fremont, were held Monday at First Lutheran Church, the Rev. H.C. Jorgensen officiating. Burial followed in Blair Cemetery.
Mr. Petersen was born in Denmark Oct. 6, 1863, coming to Washington County in 1902. He farmed almost his entire life.
Coming from his native Island of Fyen, he settled in Council Bluffs, Ia., and made his home there for 20 years. In 1902 he came to Blair, his home for the past 52 years.
Survivors include two sons, Walter W. Petersen of near Blair and L. J. Petersen of Scribner; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Thompson of Blair, Mrs. Roy Kiger (Amanda) of Fremont and Mrs. Mathilda Hart of Irwin, Ia.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grand-children.
The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
