Services Held For George C. Petersen

Services for George C. Petersen, 76, of Omaha, were held at Roeder’s Mortuary, Wednesday afternoon, September 28.

He lived in the McCarthy School District, south of Blair, until his marriage to Minnie Schneider, October 3, 1936. He moved to Omaha a few years later.

He was employed as a welder. The last 20 years before retirement he worked for Steril Mfg. Co.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie; two sons, Larry and John of Omaha; one daughter, Lois Wikstrom of Orlando, Florida, two sisters, Dorothy Lingle of Kennard and Sarah Maxwell of Blair and several grandchildren also survive him.
