BLAIR BUSINESS MAN’S FATHER DIES

Mr. Axel R. Carlson, father of Robert Carlson of Blair, passed away July 31st at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at 2:00 PM at the Swanson Funeral Home in Omaha. The Rev. C. Arthur Freeburg officiated. Interment is in the West Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Carlson, age 81, had many friends in Blair through his son, Robert, who owns the Carlson Meat and Locker Plant. He is also survived by a daughter, Betty Carlson of Omaha and a brother, Oscar of Waukerton, Indiana.
