| Mrs. John Fairchild died of dropsy at her home in this city last Thursday and the funeral was held at the Latter Day Saints Church at 11 o’clock on Monday.
Deceased was born in Mills County, Iowa, Nov. 15, 1851, and came with her parents to this county in 1854. She was married to Mr. Fairchild in young womanhood and of the union was born one daughter, now Mrs. J. E. Sullivan, of Moorcroft, Wyo.
Mr. Fairchild died in 1895. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. John Compton and Mrs. Herman Mehrens, of the county and two brothers, Caleb Boyce of Woodland Park, Colo., and James Boyce of California.
