Paul M. Schroder, 67
Services for Paul M. Schroder, age 67, of Blair who died at Immanuel Hospital December 8, 1992 will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Military graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery.
There will be a prayer service Thursday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.
Paul M. Schroder was born May 13, 1925 at Holstein, Nebraska to Paul R. and Ella Faber Schroder. He attended elementary school in Holstein and graduated from Hastings High School. After graduation, he worked at Hastings on the farm.
On December 5, 1944, he married Virginia Warner at Oberlin, Kansas.
He served in the Army during World War II. After the war, he returned to Nebraska and lived in Lincoln and Omaha prior to moving to Blair in 1947. He worked for Kiewit Construction for 27 years as a construction foreman, retiring in 1987.
He was a member and past commander of the Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Blair American Legion and Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving him are his wife, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kay Schroder, Omaha, Nebraska, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Paul Phelps, Hastings, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Paul Phelps, Hastings, Nebraska; daughter, Paula Schroder, Blair.
Memorials may go to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
