The funeral of Howard Chamberlain was held at the Baptist Church at 1:30 Saturday, April 29th. Mr. Chamberlin was taken sick with an asthmatic attack and general breakdown at the home of his sister, Mrs. LeRoy Bisbee. He was born January 16, 1871, in Cayuge County, N.Y., and died Thursday morning, April 27th, 1911. He joined the Congregational Church in Blair in 1892. Mrs. A. J. Harris, who lives north of town, is a sister, and he leaves two unmarried sisters, Misses Blanche and Josephine, who are both trained nurses.

Howard Chamberlin, after a short illness, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Leroy Bisbee, April 27, 1911. The funeral was held on Saturday, April 29, a short service being held at the house, Rev. C. G. Bisbee officiating. The ladies quartet, of Arlington, furnished appropriate music. The friends who acted as pallbearers were: Solomon Barton, Robert Brand, Simon Gnuse, Frank Rahlfs, Axel Larson and Ed Newkirk. A longer service was held at the Baptist Church in Blair, Rev. Cabeen, officiating. Interment was made in Blair Cemetery. Among the floral offerings was a beautiful wreath from the Modern Woodman of American of which he was a social member. He was in his forty-first year and had been a member of the Congregational Church of Blair since 1892.
He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. A. J. Harris of Blair; Miss Blanche Chamberlin, of Omaha; Miss Josephine Chamberlin, of Chicago and Mrs. LeRoy Bisbee of Arlington.
