Jeanette McFetters Died At North Bend
Services for Jeanette McFetters, 84, of 2104 N. Board St., were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Alan Campbell officiated.
Mrs. McFetters died Wednesday at a North Bend nursing home.
She was born July 14, 1894, in Chicago, Ill. She moved to Neligh as a child and later moved to Fremont in 1925. She was a member of the First Congregational Church.
She married Robert McFetters December 22, 1914, in Neligh. He survives.
Other survivors include: daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Lois) Pittman of Arlington; son Robert of Escondido, California; sister, Mrs. Elsie Bennett of Fremont; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the First Congregational Church in Fremont.
